My Date with Veronica Lake Now Available

The e-book is now available for purchase. Email me at jeremy8451979@yahoo.com for details. The book is $4.00. I'm accepting payment by PayPal. For those of you not familiar with the story, here is a synopsis:

Sam Pileggi has been on many dates in his life, but none of them can compare to the one he is going on tonight. When Sam meets former silver-screen star Veronica Lake he is instantly smitten, that she has been dead for over 30 years does nothing to quell his affection. Veronica will be his guide as Sam is taken on a dizzying journey beginning in the streets of Manhattan and ending in the skies above the Atlantic Ocean. One thing is for sure this is a date Sam will never forget.

The Holiday Issue is Up

The Holiday Issue of The Written Word is up and my story "Owen at the Doctor's Office" is as well. This is a strange little story I wrote while high on psychedelic mushrooms. Not really, I just got this weird visual. Well, you'll see when you read the story. Enjoy.

Good News and Bad News

Two updates, one of them positive, the other not so. First the good: "Owen at the Doctor's Office" will be in the Holiday Issue of Written Word magazine. Links to come when the issue hits the Net. Now the bad: Chippewa Publishing, the e-book publishers who were distributing "My Date with Veronica Lake" has closed. Rights to the story have reverted to me, so I will be looking to place it in another venue (maybe print). Stay tuned...

"Socks" Now Online

The October issue of Byzarium is online now and it has "Socks". The home page has a very nice comment by editor Leigh Dragoon about the story as well. Thanks, Leigh.

A Word on Socks

"Socks" was rejected 15 times before being accepted by Byzarium.  I'm sure that says something about persistence, I just don't know what.
